Art Loop Birmingham Studio Painters: Through Artistic Eyes

A group of creative women watercolor artists, Birmingham Studio Painters, originated at Longwood Gardens led by Carol Gangemi. After the pandemic and construction shut down classes there, they moved to Birmingham Friends Meeting House. Inspired by nature, these artists love painting all things that bring them joy, whether it be flora or fauna.  After painting weekly for years together, encouraging and supporting one another’s artwork and lives, the studio class has evolved into a close-knit sisterhood. Through the introduction of new techniques, practice, and informal critiques, each artist has developed a personal style. The love of painting and looking at the world through artistic eyes has created a kinship of like-minded women, a tribe of their own.
